370 electronic file formats ZyLAB offers full-text indexing support for more than 370 different electronic file formats. All files are indexed in their native file format, and the format of the electronic files is automatically recognized. ZyIMAGE is able to extract text from each of these file formats and store it in ZyLAB's full-text indexes. On a high-end PC, you can generally count on ZyIMAGE to text-index up to 4 Gb of electronic files per hour. Microsoft Outlook Personal folder Storage (PST) files can also be processed using this technology. ZyLAB can text-index the content of the body text of emails as well as the attachments of the e-mail. Hit-highlighting is also available in PST format. Furthermore, ZyLAB offers viewing support for these different file formats, which means that all files can be viewed on a PC that does not have the native program (such as Microsoft Word) installed on the PC.
