Web-Based Solution Offers Full-Text Search, Hit Navigation Capabilities, e-Discovery Features and Easy Deployment
London, October 3, 2006 – ZyLAB, an innovative developer of Information Access Solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its Sarbanes-Oxley Contract Management solution. Built from the ZyIMAGE Records Management Application (RMA) Module, ZyLAB’s contract management solution provides organizations with the ability to maintain control and guarantee the integrity of information reporting processes.
The ZyLAB Contract Management solution’s full-text search and hit navigation functions further enrich users’ contract management capabilities beyond basic Sarbanes-Oxley requirements by providing organizations with a powerful Web-based electronic document repository. With robust e-discovery features and ease-of-use, the solution offers value to both end users throughout the organization as well as for contract managers in the legal department.
“Our approach, building a contract management solution via records management, yields higher productivity and provides organizations with a better return on their investment beyond just basic Sarbanes-Oxley compliance,” said Dr. Johannes Scholtes, president of ZyLAB North America LLC. The gold standard for records management applications is the DoD 5015.2 standard. This standard requires that the application supports security policies, audit trail, reporting facilities and the ability to report and disclose information. In addition to meeting these mandatory capabilities, our solution provides additional functionality for using record types and mail mergers so that users have an affordable, all-in-one system.”
In particular, ZyLAB’s solution offers organizations a powerful solution to address Section 404, which is targeted at independent auditors and management to ensure that mechanisms for internal control are present; Section 409, which requires that a corporation must perform real-time disclosures about changes in their financial condition; and Section 802 which states that altering or deleting documents can be a crime. Organizations must be able to show that electronic content is well protected and that audit trails are available for reviewing all changes in the system.
