New System Enables Complete Data Analysis and Cross Referencing Via the Web to Assure Immediate, Cost-Effective, Exhaustive Scrutiny of Information; Enhances ZyIMAGE Legal 5.0

February 12, 2004 - LegalTech 2004, New York, NY and McLean, VA - ZyLAB, an established market leader of document imaging and information retrieval software, today announced the immediate availability of its new Web-based e-disclosure system. This new offering, the ZyIMAGE e-disclosure module, is designed to provide efficient information gathering and management and was built in close cooperation with a large international court as well as a team of defense and prosecuting attorneys. This intuitive system is part of the ZyIMAGE Legal 5.0 solution.

Legal professionals are constantly faced with finding and organizing large volumes of information - a time-consuming and expensive process. With ZyLAB's new e-disclosure system, a user can efficiently "shop" for relevant documents per case within a comprehensive Web-based repository. After the documents have been located, the user can add them to their "shopping cart," and at the end of a session, all the contents of the cart can be downloaded or printed. Downloaded documents are saved in an open XML format and prints can either be made on paper or to PDF.

To ensure the fast and easy retrieval of pertinent case information, all of ZyLAB's advanced search techniques are provided as standard features - Boolean, proximity, fuzzy, relevance ranking, concept search, etc. In addition, ZyLAB's new e-disclosure system stores a history of all searches locally on the PC and keeps track of each case's disclosure history.
