Ammons Scientific will use ZyIMAGE to create a searchable version of this data - over 284,000 pages - with the goals of putting the information (1) on an internal web, for use by customer service personnel and editorial staff, and (2) up on the Web so that subscribers can search and print any article from the two journals from their desktop via the web. ZyIMAGE will enable Ammons Scientific to use the industry's strongest search engine for searching large paper files. Importantly, it provides advanced full-text retrieval, including scalable fuzzy search, relevance ranking, advanced hit highlighting & hit navigation in imaging so that customers can instantly find the information they are seeking. In addition, ZyIMAGE offers open storage technology - full XML framework for data storage of scanned paper files, e-mail and electronic files.
