Document Imaging and Full-Text Retrieval Company Joins Program Facilitate High-Quality Integrations between ZyIMAGE and Oracle Environments

As a member partner, ZyLAB will fully leverage the support services offered through the Oracle PartnerNetwork to help execute robust and stable integrations between the applications of the Oracle® E-Business Suite and ZyIMAGE software.

Increasingly, ZyLAB customers are requiring that they have the ability to integrate between their Oracle applications (Financial, ERP, CRM, etc.) and ZyIMAGE software. Customers want an easy-to-use and reliable method for connecting their existing Oracle E-Business Suite applications - those driving primary business processes - to the scanned documents in the ZyIMAGE data repositories. For example, when a document enters an organization, the key elements from the document are entered in the database. The document is then scanned with ZyIMAGE, and a relation between the document records in the database and ZyIMAGE is automatically achieved.

Over the years, ZyLAB has provided several Oracle-compatible technical integration modules, including the ZyIMAGE Application Integrator. For example, Dell UK, headquartered in Bracknell, is where they manage the national administration of all orders, invoices, and logistics of Dell hardware. Today, when a customer has a request, complaint or question, the Dell employee simply asks for the order numbers and checks the paper work on the Web instantly. The staff is making over 400 searches per day with their ZyIMAGE system, and the retrieval speeds are instantaneous. - Requests can be launched from an Oracle application to a ZyIMAGE Webserver for a particular transaction in an Oracle Database. A copy of the transaction document (including signatures and stamps) is retrieved because it is stored in a ZyIMAGE data repository.
- For documents stored in a ZyIMAGE data repository, users can retrieve the full transaction details in an Oracle environment.
- Oracle9i XML storage can be used to archive ZyIMAGE data in an Oracle protected and encrypted environment that contains transaction logging and rollback.
