ZyLAB’s Chief Strategy Officer Appointed to AIIM Board of Directors
Johannes Scholtes Joins Team of Information Management Thought Leaders to Provide Vision and Guidance on Industry Initiatives
London, UK - December 14, 2009 - ZyLAB, a leading provider of e-discovery and information management solutions, and the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), the leading non-profit industry association that helps organisations find, control and optimise their information, today announced that Johannes Scholtes has been named to the AIIM Board of Directors. Scholtes currently serves as ZyLAB’s Chief Strategy Officer after spending 20 years as its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The AIIM Board is the governing body of the Association that establishes strategic direction and sets policies for the organisation.
“We’re particularly excited at the wide range of experiences of this year’s candidates,” states John Mancini, President of AIIM. “We sought representation in this year’s class from the end user community, from the open source community, and from those building and helping to build innovative E2.0 and collaborative solutions. We got it.”
Scholtes has a doctorate from the University of Amsterdam. He has over twenty years experience in the industry, beginning with his career in the Royal Dutch Navy as an officer in the Navy Intelligence department. As President and CEO of ZyLAB he grew the company from a small start-up to an internationally recognised e-discovery and information management technology provider with offices worldwide and more than 100 employees. In addition to his new role on the AIIM Board he is also a member of AIIM’s Education Advisory Committee.
