Sales Manager Asia Pacific (m/v)

ZyLAB Asia Pacific is expanding its sales force to take advantage of the growing need for Document and Records Management software and services. We are looking for a new salesperson that has at least 5 years experience in document management/information management systems. The role will encompass selling to both existing customers and search and create new business opportunities. You will have experience of MS Office and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a self-starter, with a strong work ethic who is a team-player with a proven track record in sales.

The nature of our business means that the successful candidate will have a sound technical background and feel confident presenting to both technical and board level staff. We require a highly focused individual who is capable of meeting his sales target. You will be able to prospect individually and with the support of our marketing team, create a new sales cycle, work as part of the project team to deliver a solution to specific markets working with our technical team. You will be experienced at developing your allocated accounts along with new business prospects.

This role will focus on an international territory covering Asia Pacific while being based out of our Singapore location! Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell ZyLAB software solutions and services direct to new and existing accounts
  • Generate new business revenue from company provided sales leads
  • Identify and properly qualify business opportunities
  • Present and demonstrate business solutions at the executive level
  • Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure
  • Manage multiple sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly & yearly sales goals

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years successful software sales experience
  • Experience selling enterprise content management solutions is required
  • Direct sales experience in selling business technology software solutions
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of commercial and/or government procurement process
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Moderate level of technical skill (at times you will present and demonstrate without technical resources)
  • Proven ability to excel and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience in selling to federal, state and local government is a plus
  • Experience in selling indirect through a reseller channel is a plus
  • Travel can range from 25%-50% depending upon sales activity and season
