ZyLAB Project Manager - McLean, VA

ZyLAB North America is expanding its Professional Services Team to take advantage of the growing need for Records Management, Email Archiving and e-Discovery software and services in the Enterprise Content Management market. We are looking for a proven Project Manager, experienced in managing complex engagements with implementations potentially spanning months and involving multiple enterprise wide software applications to the commercial and government markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage multiple ZyLAB Projects involving software installation, implementation and configuration of ZyLAB’s enterprise content management software product suite to new and existing accounts
- Efficiently manage and schedule ZyLAB resources to optimize project results
- Maximize customer satisfaction and respond professionally concerning problem resolution
- Update ZyLAB clients on a regular basis regarding progress of project
- Assist ZyLAB Account Manager in estimating time to complete project
- Assist ZyLAB Account Manager in managing client expectations regarding project
Requirements:
- At least 5 years Project Management experience
- Bachelor or higher educated
- MCP or any Microsoft related certification is a must. The ability to get certificates is also acceptable
- Experience as general IT server administrator, with knowledge of Firewalls, AD, Exchange, etc.
- Experience as troubleshooter (IT server helpdesk at least 2nd or 3rd line)
- Ability to create simple web pages and applications in VB-script or JavaScript
- Ability to create C# or VB.NET applications
- Knowledge of the implementation of SharePoint, even better: knowledge of programming SharePoint
- Knowledge of MS Exchange and how to build Exchange environments
- Programming experience in any language
- Primary knowledge of SQL (the language), Microsoft SQL server / Oracle and basics of a database
- Primary knowledge of operating systems and related (how it works)
- Knowledge of Siebel, SAP, Oracle Forms, or any other business software in a technical similar role
- Experience with enterprise content management solutions is a plus
- Experience managing implementation of one or more of the following applications is a plus – Records Management, Email Arching, e-Discovery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self driven, motivated and results oriented
- Proven ability to excel and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Experience in managing projects in federal, state and local government is a plus
- Travel is a requirement for this position and can range from 20%-25% depending upon sales activity and seasonality
